This full roof replacement at Clark’s Village in Street involved stripping the structure back to its core before rebuilding with modern, high-quality materials to ensure durability, ventilation, and a clean professional finish. All existing roof tiles, plaster, laths, and original battens were removed, followed by the installation of new 3-in-1 eaves trays, a breathable roofing membrane, and new counter battens and 2 x 1 battens throughout. The roof was then completed using new concrete Double Roman roof tiles, finished with a dry ridge system to improve airflow and reduce maintenance, along with new concrete ridge and verge tiles. The completed project delivers a robust, low-maintenance roofing system that enhances both the appearance and long-term protection of the building in this busy commercial setting.
