Lead work

This lead work project in Stembridge involved a full replacement of a failing roof gulley after the original lead had developed multiple splits. All existing lead and supporting boards were removed before the gulley was carefully redesigned to improve performance and longevity. New timber boards were installed to provide a solid foundation, followed by the fitting of new Code 5 lead and Code 5 cover strips. All detailing was finished with traditional lime repointing, ensuring flexibility, breathability, and a long-lasting seal. The completed work delivers a durable, weather-tight solution that combines traditional materials with improved design for long-term protection.
